North Carolina has some of the prettiest waterfalls in the country!

I have photos of Whitewater Falls, Glen Falls, Eastatoe, Mingo Falls, Tom Branch Falls, Looking Glass Falls, Linville Falls, Hooker Falls, Dry Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Mill Shoals Falls, Juney Whank Falls, Indian Creek Falls and more.

Looking Glass Falls…on Highway 276 near Brevard. This waterfall is right beside the road! No hiking needed.

Whitewater Falls… one of the prettiest (and largest) in the state.

Bridal Veil Falls in Highlands.

Bridal Veil Falls in Highlands, NC area.  (In the Nantahala National Forest.)  The watershed was actually pretty good this fall.  I've seen this one with a lot less water.You can drive under these falls!

My newest waterfall photos are from Pearson’s Falls near Tryon, NC. A wonderful place to spend some time, walking, hiking, picnicing and just enjoying being outside.
