Our pool had pretty palm tree reflections in the morning. That was about the only time it was calm. One day, the wind was so strong that it was creating waves in the pool!

Maybry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 176 in Virginia. Built by Ed Maybry over 100 years ago, provided cornmeal for the area.
This mill is one of the most photographed places on the parkway. It is just beautiful sitting there by the little pond!
We’re going to the beach in September. I am soooo ready to be there. I just hope no hurricanes are coming.
