Hello!
I spend most of my time photographing this beautiful state during all four of our seasons. We're fortunate enough to have the mountains to the west of us and the ocean to the east.
November 2011 - Chimney Rock and Lake Lure - It was the prettiest time of the year! Beautiful fall colors
October 2011 - Triple Falls in the Dupont State Forest - These falls are famous from the movie "The Last of the Mohicans"
Pilot Mountain - State Park in the northern part of the state
September 2011 - When we went to the beach this year, I went to Ripley's Aquarium there in Myrtle Beach. It was even more interesting than I imagined. The main tank called the Dangerous Reef was the most impressive. You get to walk through a tunnel through the water and see all the marine life above you and beside you. You've got to watch some of my videos!
August 2011 - I finally went to the Mabry Mill on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia! This mill area is a wonderful place to visit. They have lots of other antiques and buildings to go through.... feels like you're stepping back in time.

I use a Canon 5D Mark II and a Canon 40D and have 4 lenses (EF 24-105mm L IS USM, EFS 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM, EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM and a Zoom EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM) (Canon Speedlite Flash 580EX). I use Adobe Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3.0 for any post processing.
I just got the Lensbaby Composer so I'm having fun learning this little lens.
I have framed Charlotte and North Carolina photos at Village Emporium in Matthews. If you'd like an image framed and made available at the store, just send me an email.
